A Kodiak Island hunt, done right

The yacht is your basecamp. The island is your hunting ground.

We fly you from Kodiak by float plane, meet you at the yacht, and move you along the coast into fresh country every day. Sitka blacktail on the beaches and alder benches in the morning, seaducks and fishing in the afternoon, crab pots pulled at dusk.

This is a DIY hunt — you carry your rifle and pick your ground. We handle the boat, the meals, the bunks, the crab, and the fillet knife. Bring your license and your rain gear.

Deer, ducks, halibut, and crab. From a boat. On Kodiak.

The Captain

Built from real Kodiak experience.

Running the Kodiak coast is a full-time craft — tides, weather, beach approaches, and knowing where the deer are moving week to week. We've been at it a long time, and we run these trips the way we'd want them run for us.

"You hunt hard all day. You come back to a hot meal, a warm bunk, and crab on the table. That's a Kodiak trip."

A Buck on the Alders

First light on the ridge, snow starting to stack on the alders. A mature blacktail stepped clear at 80 yards. That's why you come here.
